CCTV
The Data Protection Act 1998 requires that; cameras should be properly maintained and serviced to ensure that clear images are recorded (Third & Fourth Data Protection Principles). The changes in data protection legislation, which came into force on 1st March 2000, mean that for the first time legally enforceable standards apply to the collection and processing of images relating to individuals.
Most CCTV systems must now be logged with the Data Protection Commissioner (now called the Information Commissioner).

Automatic Gate, Barriers, Turnstiles and Road Blockers
Automatic gate, barrier, turnstiles and road blocker systems are generally exposed to all weather conditions and varying levels of use and abuse. As with all moving equipment a maintenance program will ensure the longest possible life of the equipment. For systems using hydraulics the simplest analogy is to compare it with a car braking system. Both use fluids that absorb moisture, require bleeding and `O` ring changes to maintain optimum performance and to extend the life of the internal components.
